What does putting an implant entail?

1.- Preliminary control:
The preliminary study to put an implant determines the treatment that best suits your situation and, eventually, the need for a bone graft.After this first step, the titanium screw (implant) is placed in the bone. Small painless intervention of about 15 minutes per implant performed under local anesthesia.
2.- Healing period
(osseointegration) is the time it takes for the implant to integrate into the bone. It usually represents between 3 and 6 months, during which time you will wear a provisional prosthesis if necessary.3.- Manufacture and placement of the crown or definitive prosthesis
(ceramic or resin tooth depending on the case). For this, a mold is made with which the dental technician can manufacture your new dental piece, which our specialists will fix to the implant.Generally, a healthy person with one, several, or all missing teeth is a candidate for dental implant treatment.
