Endodontics

Endodontics is the branch of dentistry that treats the dental pulp and periradicular tissues. The goal is to fix a deep infection of the teeth. The appearance of chronic pain or hypersensitivity, are clear symptoms that a tooth is infected.

When the infection reaches the pulp of the tooth an endodontic is necessary, this allows us to end the root infection and guarantee that we will save the natural tooth.

Keeping the tooth is always preferable to replacing it with a prosthesis, therefore, after an endodontic treatment, since the tooth is weakened, it may be necessary to place a crown, to prevent it from breaking over time.
